All deed documents in Franklin County go through the Clerk of Superior Court for recording. The office is located at 9595 Lavonia Road, Carnesville, GA 30521. You can visit in person Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Call (706) 384-2514 with questions about specific documents or to confirm what you need to bring. Recording costs $25.00 per document per O.C.G.A. 15-6-77. You can get uncertified copies for $0.50 a page. Certified copies start at $2.50 for the first page, plus $0.50 per page after that.
